Hello, I’m Sam. I look after IT, improve systems and generally try to make complicated things a little easier for the people using them.
Since October 2025, I’ve looked after the systems, accounts, devices and practical improvements that help office and field teams get their work done.
October 2025 — present
I lead day-to-day IT operations and digital improvement across office and field environments. That means keeping identities, devices and collaboration tools dependable—then building better systems around the way people actually work.
Microsoft 365 and Entra administration, user and device lifecycle, identity and access, licensing, mailboxes, databases, suppliers, endpoint and network investigation, technical evidence and internal automation.
Work is only part of the story. I’m interested in flight, water, mountains, history, worldbuilding and the sort of journeys that leave a good story behind.
A fallen constable, a corrupt city and a dark mage thought gone—book one of a planned ten-book world whose cultures, geography and histories have grown for years.
I like seeing what is over the next hill.
I’ve been lucky enough to fly planes, sail boats, swim in mountain lakes and travel from the Canadian Rockies to the Scottish Highlands and the Great Hungarian Plain. I enjoy drone photography, abandoned places, SCUBA, books and history—and I’m still very much learning as I go.
